Jennifer Lopez's Groundbreaking Move - Child Revealed with Gender-Neutral Pronouns

Jennifer Lopez has been commended for using gender-neutral pronouns when presenting her daughter, Emme.

Emme, who J.Lo shares with her ex-husband Marc Anthony and their twin brother Max. He is a singer in her own right and has even performed on stage with their famous mother.

They initially demonstrated their vocal prowess by duetting on the song “Limitless” during Jennifer Lopez’s It’s My Party tour in 2019; Emme joined their mother on stage at the 2020 Super Bowl, which was widely featured in Jennifer Lopez’s new Netflix documentary, Halftime.

J.Lo introduced Emme to the stage during one of her most recent duets, which took place over the weekend at the LA Dodgers Foundation Blue Diamond Gala in Los Angeles.

The 52-year-old singer requested her 14-year-old daughter Emme Maribel to join her on stage at one point during her musical routine. However, she frequently used the pronouns “they” and “them” to introduce herself to her supporters.

“I ask them to sing with me all the time, but they won’t. So this is a very special occasion. They are very, very busy. Booked. And pricey! It costs me when they come out,” J.Lo joked.

Singer/actress/dancer J.Lo sweetly continued: “But they’re worth every single penny because they’re my favorite duet partner of all time. So if you will indulge me.”

Emem then took the stage with a rainbow-bedecked microphone and began singing Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years,” Bruce Springsteen’s “Born in the USA,” and the “Let’s Get Loud” entrance.
